Aggravated Assault Suspect Arrested After Search Near Bogus Basin Road In Boise

Charges: Aggravated Assault (F), Unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon (F), Resisting and obstructing officers (m)

Around 1:30 on Sunday morning, Boise Police began assisting Caldwell Police in searching for a suspect believed to be in the area of Bogus Basin Road. The suspect, Robert Tunison, was wanted in connection to an incident in Caldwell. Officers spotted the suspect and his vehicle near the 2400 block of N. 15th Street. When the suspect, saw officers he fled. Officers set up a perimeter and additional resources were called to secure the scene and locate the suspect. Tunison was located nearby around 3:15 am hiding under a car. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on aggravated assault and unlawful possession of a weapon by a convicted felon charges related to the incident in Caldwell and a resisting and obstructing charge in Boise.
