Boise Area Flood Warning Continues: National Weather Service
The National Weather Service in Boise is warning of flood conditions in Ada and Canyon counties.

BOISE, ID - A flood warning issued by the National Weather Service Tuesday morning was still in effect Wednesday morning. The weather service is warning that releases from local reservoirs could contribute to flood conditions. The flood warning includes the Garden City warehouse district, which has seen major ponding conditions due to rising river levels.
"Releases from Lucky Peak reservoir are resulting in high river levels on the Boise River below the dam. These flows are necessary for flood control due to high elevation snowmelt and diminishing storage space in the reservoir system. The high flows are expected to continue for the foreseeable future," the flood warning says.
The warning is in effect "until further notice," according to the National Weather Service. The weather service is warning of flooding in low areas of Boise, Garden City, Eagle, Star, and Caldwell.
