The New York Times recently released a listing of the best towns for cyclists and Boise ranks in the 9th spot.

BOISE, ID — Across the world, two billion bikes are in use. Lawnstarter recently released rankings of the best and worst places in the United States for cycling.

The method of scoring involved four areas-weather; access to bike routes, bike shops and bike share programs; safety; and community support from bike organizations and groups.
