Boise State Athletic Calendar For Friday, April 9
The Broncos women's soccer team is home while beach volleyball and tennis is on the road.

BOISE, ID — After having a few days off, Boise State athletics is again active with teams both traveling and playing before the hometown crowd.

Women's beach volleyball is in Corpus Christi on Friday with two matches scheduled. Starting early in the morning at 7 a.m., the Broncos take on Texas A&M. Later Friday, with a start time of 3:40 p.m., BSU meets Houston Baptist on the sand court.

Women's tennis is in Logan, Utah meeting up with Utah State starting at 11 a.m. and men's tennis is in Reno, Nevada facing Nevada starting at 1 p.m.
For Boise residents looking for some soccer action, the Bronco women are home versus San Diego State starting at 4 p.m. This will be the final homestand of the season as Boise State (4-3-1) hosts the Aztecs (6-2-0).

San Diego State is led by 13-year head coach Mike Friesen. Boise State dropped the first match of the season between the two teams in San Diego, 3-1.
The Broncos have allowed just seven goals in conference play this season, a program low under head coach Jim Thomas. The mark also ties the Broncos for the fewest in the west division this season and second in the Mountain West.
Freshman Mariah Albin and Mia Burns along with junior transfer Dorian Goodwin have combined for four of the Broncos nine goals this season. Albin currently sits as the Broncos goal-scoring leader with two. She made her first start in the win over Fresno State.
Sophomore transfer from Kent State Anna Campanella joined the list of impact newcomers with a game-winning header in the Broncos home win over the Nevada Wolf Pack on March 27.
Freshman goalkeeper Genevieve Crenshaw has made her third-consecutive start in the win over Nevada on March 27. In those three starts, Crenshaw has earned two clean-sheet victories with eight saves.
