BOISE, ID — Monday, April 5 is a relatively quiet day on the Bronco sport schedule.

The Boise State University women's golf team is in Maricopa, Arizona for a two-day tournament at the Wyoming Cowgirl Classic.

The first golfers tee off at 7:30 a.m.

In the women's last outing in mid-March, the Bronco women finished seventh at the BYU Classic.

Junior Lexi Perry led the Boise State women's golf team at the weather-shortened BYU Spring Classic, Tuesday. The field played two rounds Monday, but the final round was canceled due to inclement weather.

Perry registered her second top-25 effort of the season, finishing tied for 12th after posting back-to-back rounds of 74 (148, +4) at the Sand Hollow Golf Course.

She also finished tied for 10th at the season-opening Valley Invitational, Feb. 8-9.

The Broncos recorded consecutive rounds of 303 (+15) Monday, concluding the day in seventh place, just six strokes back of the top three.

Rounding out the scoring for the Broncos were sophomore Cora Mickelsen (78-75—153, +9), junior Nicole Suppelsa (82-73—155, +11), freshman Emma Yang (75-81—156, +12) and freshman Elli Gordon (76-85—161, +17).
