Boise Women In Business Leadership Panel Scheduled
Two Boise radio stations are holding a virtual panel featuring Idaho female leaders in business and industry.

BOISE, ID — Women in the business world in Idaho has seen some of the most dramatic growth in the nation according to a recent report commissioned by American Express.

According to Institute for Women's Policy Research, over 30 percent of all businesses in Idaho are owned by women. In addition, a growing number of women in Idaho are employed in managerial or professional occupations. Idaho currently ranks 33rd in the nation for the share of women living in poverty.

Two Boise radio stations, 104.3 WOW and 107.9 LITE-FM are hosting a Women in Business Leadership virtual panel on March 31.
Four noted Idaho women in business are scheduled to host the session and includes a question and answer period.

Women owned businesses have doubled in the state within the last decade. As the pandemic spread and closed gatherings, opportunities for women to network and gather resources has dwindled.
