City Of Boise To Test Second Pick-Up, Drop-Off Location
Following the success of the first pick-up and drop-off zone, the City of Boise will test a second zone beginning on Friday, Oct. 25.

Following the success of the first pick-up and drop-off zone, the City of Boise will test a second zone beginning on Friday, October 25 and concluding on Sunday, November 24. This new additional zone will be located on the southside of Bannock Street between 8th Street and Capitol Blvd. With this new zone, the city hopes to reduce congestion and improve the flow of traffic in front of nearby downtown businesses.

The new zone will be available for taxis, transportation network companies (Uber, Lyft) and the general public.
The City’s Parking Services team is testing the new zone to provide a safe place for people to get in and out of vehicles between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

If the pilot program is successful, the City of Boise may choose to implement the pick-up and drop-off zone permanently on Friday and Saturday nights.
The last day of the new pick-up and drop-off zone test is scheduled for Sunday, November 24.
