INSPIRE Connections Academy students tour the Idaho Supreme Court
Students enjoyed a field trip getting a behind the scenes look at the Idaho Supreme Court
On Friday, January 24th, students with INSPIRE, the Idaho Connections Academy went on a field trip to the Idaho Supreme Court. They were given a tour through the building and explored the history of the building and the role that the court plays in the judiciary branch. Afterwards, they had the opportunity to meet with Chief Justice Roger Burdick. Students had a great time asking questions about what he does and how the court works. He let students take a tour of the robe room behind the court room, where they got to see an original document signed by Abraham Lincoln.
