No More Empty Stands For BSU Games

BOISE, ID — Time to get into the closet and dig out that BSU fan gear. The university has announced stadium capacity will return to normal for the upcoming football season.

Boise State Athletic Director Jeramiah Dickey announced Tuesday that tickets to Albertson's Stadium and other athletic venues on campus will be sold to full capacity starting this fall. The Bronco football team has six home games scheduled beginning with the Sept. 11 home opener versus the University of Texas El Paso.

The decision came after the federal government and the city eased guidelines on the wearing of masks and social distancing. The question on if fans will wear masks at games will be taken up at a later date.

Also still up in the air is the question of alcohol sales inside the stadium.

Boise State is currently selling season tickets but individual tickets will go on sale later this summer.
