Roundabout At Robbins, Fort And Washington To Open

On Wednesday morning, the newest roundabout located at Robbins Road, Fort Street and Washington Street will be open to vehicles, bicycles and pedestrians. The roundabout features expanded safety measures including landscape buffers that separate the sidewalk from the roadway, improved street lighting and pedestrian crossing locations with Rapid Flashing Beacons. In addition to being safer for pedestrians and cyclists, the new traffic pattern also improves the flow of vehicular traffic in the area.
