Students at Montessori Academy Hold Food Drive For Community

Students held a food drive for Meridian Food Bank and created ornaments to bring cheer to the community

Students at Montessori Academy in Meridian recently held a food drive to help families in need in their community this holiday season. Montessori Academy students collected two large barrels of food to donate to Meridian Food Bank in time for Thanksgiving. Additionally, students spread cheer to their community through the City of Meridian’s first annual Ornament Drop, during which families can find ornaments in downtown Meridian to take home. Students created 40 ornaments to share with the community through the initiative. Through these efforts, students learned the value of helping those in need and giving back to the community.
