The approval of a third coronavirus vaccine could boost Illinois’ supply of doses by about 20 percent over the next four weeks, Pritzker said. President Joe Biden has also made public commitments to send more vaccines to Illinois, which could see the state get more than 100,000 doses per day by mid-March, he said.

“We are getting closer and closer to widespread availability that we all want,” Pritzker said. “Things are getting better; this pandemic will end. And we’ll get there faster by looking out for one another.”
