After Vegas Shooting, Luke Bryan Doubles Down On Security For Illinois Tour

Three stops remain on the country singer's Farm Tour 2017.

EDINBURG, IL — After a mass shooting targeted a country music festival in Las Vegas, singer Luke Bryan assured fans that security will be the top priority for the remaining stops on his Farm Tour 2017. The show makes stops in Fort Wayne, Indiana, on Thursday, followed by shows in Edinburg on Friday and Centralia, Missouri, on Saturday.

“We want to assure our fans that we are working with state and local officials to do everything possible to ensure your safety during our Farm Tour shows,” Bryan said in an Oct. 2 Facebook post. “Country music has always been about community and we will continue to stand together.” The country singer added, "We are greatly saddened by the event that took place in Vegas and are praying for those country music fans, their families and all involved."

On Sunday night, a gunman killed at least 58 people and wounded 500 others during the Route 91 Harvest Festival.
