'Arctic Chill' Coming Wednesday Night For Chicago Area

Below zero wind chills are expected Thursday morning.

ILLINOIS ? Temperatures will begin to rise through mid-week before another "arctic chill" on Wednesday night, according to the National Weather Service.

Monday will have a high of 30, Tuesday a high of 32 and Wednesday a high of 44 degrees.

"A strong cold front brings another arctic chill Wednesday night with below zero wind chills Thursday morning," the weather service said on its Facebook.

Thursday will then have a high of 25 degrees, with morning wind chills as low as-10, according to the weather service. Friday will have a high of 24.

As far as precipitation goes, the week will be dry for most of the Chicago area. There is a chance for some lake effect snow in northwest Indiana on Monday night, as well as a chance on Wednesday night, according to the current forecast.
