Doctors Concerned About Holiday Travel, Growing COVID-19 Cases

About 2.4 million people in Illinois will travel for Thanksgiving.

CHICAGO (CBS) — While normal holiday travel is expected to be down this week, there could be a spike in COVID levels two weeks after Thanksgiving.

About 2.4 million people in Illinois will travel for Thanksgiving. Triple A says that’s down nearly 15 percent. It’s worse for airlines with booked tickets down 52 percent from last year.
