Temps Soar To 70s: Illinois Easter Weekend Weather

ILLINOIS — It may feel quite chilly on Thursday, but the warmer temperatures will return for the Easter holiday weekend. Highs in the 50s are expected on Friday, 60s on Saturday and a high of 73 degrees on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service forecast.

After lake effect snow showers on Thursday morning, the weekend is expected to be dry and sunny. It will be breezy on Saturday with gusts up to 25 mph, according to the weather service.

The warm temperatures are set to continue after the weekend, as temps creep even closer to 80 degrees. Monday and Tuesday both have expected highs of 75 degrees, according to the weather service forecast.
