Foot Of Snow, -25 Wind Chill Possible For Some Areas: IL Weather
Winds chill of 25 below zero are also expected Sunday night into Monday.
ILLINOIS — Winter storm warnings and winter weather advisories have been issued as yet another snowfall is expected Monday into Tuesday. The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning starting at 3 a.m. Monday until noon Tuesday for Cook County; and from 6 p.m. Sunday until 9 a.m. Tuesday for eastern Will County. The rest of the Chicago area is under a winter weather advisory from noon Monday until 9 a.m. Tuesday.
For those impacted by the winter storm warning in Cook County, the weather service said 8 to 12 inches of snow is expected, with locally higher amounts possible. In eastern Will County, 4 to 8 inches is expected.
The worst snow and travel conditions are expected from daybreak Monday to daybreak Tuesday, according to the weather service.

The cold temperatures haven't left yet either. According to the weather service, the coldest temperatures are expected overnight Sunday into Monday. Wind chills could be as low as 25 degrees below zero, which could lead to frostbite in as little as 30 minutes.
After snow ends on Tuesday, it will be mostly cloudy with a high of 19, according to the weather service. Wednesday will also be cloudy with a high near 20, before the chance of snow returns on Thursday.
