Spring Temps Hit Illinois: 66 Degrees Expected, Possible Storms

ILLINOIS — The warmest temperatures of the year will hit the Chicago area in the coming days. Highs in the 60s are expected almost all week, according to the National Weather Service. Monday through Thursday have expected high temperatures all in the 60s, while things will cool down Friday, which has a high of 49. According to the weather service forecast, Monday will have a high of 65, Tuesday will have a high of 66, Wednesday a high of 66, and Thursday a high of 63 degrees.

Storms may stick around Thursday, and there is another chance of rain Thursday night, according to the weather service forecast. Wednesday will also be windy, with gusts up to 35 to 40 mph, the weather service said.
