ILLINOIS — Temperatures will cool down slightly with the start of the work week, although it will remain in the 40s for most of the week. According to the National Weather Service, the week will have sunny skies and will remain dry.
Monday will be the coldest day of the week with a high of 40, while Wednesday looks to be the warmest with a high of 54, according to the weather service. Tuesday will be breezy with a high of 49, Thursday will have a high of 48 and Friday a high of 49.
On Saturday, Chicago officially hit 50 degrees for the first time in 2021, the weather service said. O'Hare hit 52 degrees, Romeoville hit 51, and Midway hit 50.
