Temps See-Saw From 60s To 40s: IL Weather

Temperatures will go up and down this week in a common spring-like pattern, according to the weather service.

ILLINOIS — Up and down temperatures are expected this week as temps in the 60s, in the 40s, and then back to the 60s next weekend. According to the National Weather Service forecast, the week will start off quite warm with a high of 65 on Monday.

The weather service said there could be gusts as high as 35 mph, and there is an increased fire weather threat.

Tuesday will still be mild with a high of 61, and once again will be breezy with gusts as high as 30 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Temps will cool on Wednesday and Thursday, which has a high of 43 and 42, respectively.

Both days will be sunny and mostly dry. There is a chance of rain Tuesday afternoon and night, according to the weather service.

Friday will begin to warm again, and has a high of 56 degrees. It will also be sunny, according to the weather service.
