2 Injured In Glider Crash In Hampshire

Two men were taken to the hospital following the incident.

HUNTLEY, IL — Two men were injured following a glider accident in Hampshire, the Daily Herald is reporting.

The glider, which sustained significant damage, crashed in a field adjacent to the Sky Soaring Club, a glider club, at about 1 p.m., fire officials said. Both men were taken to a nearby hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening, according to the newspaper.

The Federal Aviation Administration and the Kane County Sheriff's Office are investigating the crash.
