5 Felonies For Man Arrested In Armed Robbery At Motel Last Year
Trent J. Keegan, 27, was arrested for an armed robbery at a Super 8 Motel in Woodstock that took place in May of 2020.

WOODSTOCK, IL — A 27-year-old Chicago man is facing five felony charges after police said he robbed a Super 8 Motel with a handgun.
Over a year ago on May 17 in 2020, Woodstock police responded to a call of an armed robbery at the motel on the 1200 block of Davis Road. Multiple pieces of evidence were collected at the scene and at a residence in Lake in the Hills, but police were not able to charge the primary suspect until May 26 of 2021.
Trent J. Keegan of the Buena Park area in Chicago was arrested on Tuesday, June 1 by the Chicago Police Department's Fugitive Apprehension Team. Keegan is facing two Class X felonies, charged with armed violence and armed robbery, two Class 3 felonies for burglary and theft of over $500, a Class 2 felony for unlawful use of a weapon by a felon, and serval misdemeanors for battery and aggravated assault.

The Boone County Sheriff's Department and their K9 Unit assisted in the investigation along with the McHenry County sheriff's department's SWAT team and the Lake in the Hills Police Department.
Keegan is currently being held without bond at the Cook County Jail.
