Algonquin Could Get Chick-fil-A On Randall Road
The village's planning and zoning commission is set to vote on a special use permit to allow the fast food chain to come to town.
ALGONQUIN, IL — A new Chick-fil-A could be coming soon to Algonquin.
The Algonquin Planning and Zoning Commission is set to vote on allowing a special use permit for a Chick-fil-A at 425 South Randall Road, which is the location of the former Aldi grocery store. The fast food chain plans to demolish the building and build the restaurant, which would have a drive-thru and outdoor seating, in its place, according to village documents.
Aldi recently closed its store at 425 S. Randall Road and moved down the street to a larger location at 1100 S. Randall Road.
