Algonquin Police: Disorderly Conduct Arrest at Post Office

Police report disturbance at post office.

 

Algonquin police released the following reports this week:

Daniel J. Kempf, 57, of 1441 Winaki Trail, Algonquin, was charged with obstructing justice, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct on Dec. 28, police said.  He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Post Office, 801 W. Algonquin Road at 1:30 p.m.

Robert A. VanNess, 20, of 103 Glen Brook Circle, Gilberts, and Lionisio Aleman, 22, of 1415 Plymouth Street, Elgin, were each charged with retail theft on Dec. 28, police said. VanNess was released on a Notice to Appear, with a court date of Jan. 30 in Algonquin and Aleman was released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of Feb. 6 in McHenry County.

Kelley M. Doran, 29, of 10190 S. Route 31, Algonquin, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, improper lane use and speeding, police said. Doran was taken into custody at Algonquin Road and Berg Street at 4:16 a.m. Dec. 30, police said. She was released after posting her Illinois driver’s license and $100 bond, with a court date of Feb. 6 in McHenry County.

Gregory Yellets, 48, of 5455 Savoy Drive, Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and following too closely, according to reports. Yellets was taken into custody at Algonquin Road and Square Barn Road at 4:18 p.m. on Dec. 30.  He was released after posting $100 bond and his Illinois driver’s license, with a court date of Jan. 30 in McHenry County.
