Algonquin Police: Teen Arrested for Marijuana Possession; Algonquin Men Charged with Domestic Battery
Algonquin Police release reports through Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013.

Marijuana Possession
A 16-year-old Algonquin boy was arrested at 7:41 p.m. Oct. 4, and charged with possession of cannabis.Â
During the same incident, a 16-year-old boy from West Dundee was also arrested and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both were taken into custody in the 1500 block of Millbrook Drive, and were were referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury. The boys were released into the custody of their parents.

Domestic Battery
Jose Pozos, 28, of the 600 block of Claymont Court, Algonquin, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. Oct. 4, and charged with domestic battery. He was taken into custody at the Algonquin Police Department and transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.
Patrick P. Sullivan, 20, of the 200 block of S. River Road, Algonquin, was arrested at 9:31 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, and charged with two counts of domestic battery. He was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.

Wanted on Warrant
Lisa N. Zemola, 21, of the 500 block of Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove Village, was arrested at 3:32 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, on a warrant out of DeKalb County for failure to appear in court to face an obstructing identification charge. She was taken into custody at 1621 N. River Road. She was released after posting $375, with a court date of Nov. 12.
Paul Ayala, 28, of the 3500 block of W. Lyndale St., Chicago, was arrested at 12:47 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, on a warrant out of Boone County for failure to appear in court for a payment on an driving while license suspended charge. He was taken into custody at Division Street and Route 31. He was released after posting $407, with a court date of 10/18/13, in Boone County.
DUI
Amanda Ward, 22, of the 300 block of 165th Court NE, Bradenton, Fla., was arrested at 3:36 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, and charged with driving under the influence, DUI with blood-alcohol content over .08 and improper lane use. She was taken into custody at Pyott and Algonquin roads. She was released after posting $300, with a court date of Nov. 13.
Violating Orders of Protection
Nathaniel R. Chapwesk, 19, of the 100 block of S. Main St., Algonquin, was arrested at 2:03 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, and charged with two counts of violation of an order of protection. He was transported to McHenry County Jail, to await a bond hearing.
