Algonquin Police: Underage Drinking, DUI, Leaving the Scene of an Accident

Underage Drinking
Police arrested two 17-year-old Bartlett men on a charge of illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor on May 11, reports stated. Officers arrested the two at Merchant Drive and Randall Road. They were both petitioned into juvenile court and then released into the custody of their parents.

DUI
Rebecca L. Â Nellessen, 42, of 10120 Kendall Drive, Algonquin, was charged with driving under the influence and driving with a suspended license, police said.
Nellessen also was wanted on a Cook County warrant for driving with a suspended license, police said. Nellessen was taken into custody on May 11 at Sherman Hospital, Elgin.

She was released after posting $300, on the Algonquin charges, with a court date of June 19 in McHenry County, reports stated. She posted a $500 bond on the Cook County Warrant and was given a June 21 court date.
Leaving Accident Scene
Scott W. Miller, 23, of 529 Skyline Drive, Algonquin, was charged with leaving the scene and failure to reduce speed on May 12, police said. He was taken into custody at 529 Skyline Drive and released on a personal recognizance bond with a court date of June 19 in McHenry County.
