AMC Lake In The Hills Offers Sensory-Friendly Movies, Relaxes Theater Rules
The Lake in the Hills theater is among AMC theaters offering special showings for those with autism and other sensory issues.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - The AMC Lake in the Hills is now offering sensory-friendly movies. AMC partnered with the Autism Society to offer the unique movie showings where theaters will turn the lights up and the sound down to cater to those with sensory issues, according to a news release from AMC.
Those attending the movies, if they are so inclined, are encouraged to get up, dance, walk, shout or sing.
The sensory friendly film program is available on the second and fourth Saturday (for family-friendly movies) and Tuesday evenings (for mature audiences) of every month. Theaters are currently showing a sensory-friendly showing of Cars 3.
