Crystal Lake Police Commander Leaving After 27 Years
Commander Dan Dziewior's last day is May 11.

Crystal Lake Police Department Commander of Support Services Dan Dziewior Jr. has tendered his resignation with the police department. His last day is May 11.
Dziewior has been at the police department for more than 27 years.
“I have enjoyed the past 27 plus years of service to the city,” Dziewior said in a written release. “I have accepted a position with the Crystal Lake Park District as their Chief of Police, starting May 12th.”

Crystal Lake Police Commander Tom Kotlowski has assumed the role of Public Information Officer for the Crystal Lake Police Department.
