Early Voting Expands For April 6 Election
Weekend hours at these locations are 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 27, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4.

WOODSTOCK, Ill. – In-person early voting for the April 6 consolidated election will expand to 10 locations starting Monday, March 22, McHenry County Clerk Joe Tirio announced.

Voters will choose their representatives on city councils and village boards, all township offices, school boards, park districts, library districts, community college boards and fire protection districts.
Early voting began March 12 at the County Administration Building, 667 Ware Road, Woodstock. Starting Monday, it will expand to the following locations:

- McHenry City Hall, 333 S. Green St., McHenry;
- McHenry Township Office, 3703 N. Richmond Road, Johnsburg;
- Nunda Township Office, 3510 Bay Road, Crystal Lake; and
- Lake in the Hills Village Hall, 600 Harvest Gate, Lake in the Hills.
Voting hours for these four locations and the Administration Building are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through Friday, March 26, and then weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. through Monday, April 5. Weekend hours at these locations are 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 27, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4.
Early voting is also available at the following locations:
- Huntley Park District, 12015 Mill St., Huntley;
- Cary Area Public Library, 1606 Three Oaks Road, Cary;
- Algonquin Public Library, 2600 Harnish Drive, Algonquin;
- Dunham Township Office, 107 Airport Road, Harvard; and
- Marengo City Hall, 132 E. Prairie St., Marengo.
Voting hours for these five locations are 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays through Friday, April 2, and from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 3. The Huntley, Cary and Algonquin locations also will be open from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 27.
County voting stations are regularly sanitized, hand sanitizer is readily available for voters, and physical distancing measures are in place to protect voters and poll workers.
Voters can locate their precinct and review a sample ballot based on their location on the County Clerk website at www.mchenrycountyclerk.com.
