Happy Mother’s Day To Michelle Schneider
"My life, you created. My childhood, you cherished like no other. My future is because of you."

In celebration of Mother's Day on Sunday May 13, we asked Patch readers to write a letter to their mother and let us deliver it. This is Cal Schneider's letter to his mom:
Mom,
You of all people should know that being a mom is hard work. I wouldn’t even want to be my own mom because I'm such a pain in the butt. Somehow after 14 years, you have stuck through thick and thin, big and small. I couldn’t thank you enough for helping guide me through elementary school, middle school and soon, high school.
I wouldn't be who I am today if you weren’t as courageous, adaptable, affectionate, exuberant and generous as you are. Thank you for making me breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. Thank you for helping me see the light when I feel like I’m in a dark tunnel. Thank you for picking me up every day after track. Thank you.
You are an inspiration to me. You don’t only show me the light, you are the light at the end of the tunnel, and without the light we wouldn’t be able to see through the darkness. I couldn’t thank you enough for bringing me into this world. My life, you created. My childhood, you cherished like no other. My future is because of you.
