Holiday Lights Bus Tour Held Next Week
The bus tour will be held on Dec. 18, Dec. 19 and Dec. 20.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — There are still a few spaces left aboard the holiday lights bus tour in Lake in the Hills. The Parks and Recreation Department hosts the tour and those who claim a spot on the bus also serve as judges for the village's holiday house decorating contest, according to information posted on the village of Lake in the Hills Facebook page.
The bus tour will be held on Dec. 18, Dec. 19 and Dec. 20 but is already full on Dec. 18 and Dec. 20. There is still limited space available on Dec. 19. The bus leaves promptly at 5:45 each night, and cookies and hot chocolate will be served, according to village officials.
Tickets are available for $5 per person for residents of Lake in the Hills and $6 for non-residents. Children ages 3 years old and up are welcome and parents should bring their own car seats along for children.
