Lake In The Hills Man $200,000 Richer
The man won by randomly picking numbers in Lucky Day Lotto.

It was an extra lucky first day of spring for Lake in the Hills resident Salvatore Longo who won $200,000 in the evening drawing on March 21.
Longo randomly chose some numbers and used them to play Lucky Day Lotto. Longo’s ticket matched all five numbers: 21- 24 - 33 - 36 - 43.
Longo is a more than 20 year resident of Lake in the Hills.

“ He was at home when he saw the winning Lucky Day Lotto numbers on television and wrote them down,” the Illinois Lottery said in a written release. “After comparing them with his numbers, he asked his son to double check the ticket and confirm that it was indeed a winner.”
Longo is married with three children and 13 grandchildren. He plans to use his winnings to pay bills, buy a car and invest.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 4500 West Algonquin Road in Lake in the Hills. The retailer received a bonus of $2,000, 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling a winning ticket.
