Lake in the Hills Named 2nd Safest City in the United States
The city is also named the safest in Illinois.
Neighborhood Scout has released its ranking of the 100 safest cities in the United States and Lake in the Hills has come in second in the nation.
It also is the safest city in the state of Illinois.
Neighborhood Scout says that it ranks cities based on population and safety from all crimes. The statistics for Lake in the Hills say the annual crimes per 1,000 residents is 3.8.
