Lions Armstrong Memorial Pool To Open June 5

Swimmers must register online ahead of time to account for social distancing and COVID safety.

The Village of Algonquin is making all the necessary preparations to open the Lions Armstrong Memorial Pool this summer on Saturday, June 5. To ensure a safe and fun experience for all our guests, we are constantly monitoring and evaluating federal, state, and local guidelines/recommendations for facility use. Due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19 and what regulations will be applicable to our region will be this summer, we plan to operate the facility using designated swim time blocks and daily fees.

Swimmers may reserve their open swim time block either by visiting rec.algonquin.org or by contacting the Pool at 847-458-7677. Walk-ins will only be accepted if space limits allow and as available. It is recommended to use online registration or contact the pool before visiting. Additional guidelines will be posted as we get closer to opening for the season.
