Man Charged With DUI After LITH Crash
The single-vehicle crash happened on Memorial Day.
LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL — A 22-year-old Lake in the Hill man now faces drunken drive charges after he crashed his BMW into a ditch on Randall Road over Memorial Day weekend.
Adan I. Alvarado, of the 4100 block of Larkspur Lane, was driving east on Polaris Drive and attempting to turn north onto Randall Road when his 2008 BMW 525i veered of the road, Ashley Eccles, communications coordinator for the Lake in the Hills Police Department, told Patch in an email response.

Emergency personnel responded for the reported accident with injuries, which happened at about 10:50 p.m. on May 31, but Alvarado was not taken to the hospital, according to police.
Alvarado's car sustained "extensive damage," police said. He has been charged with driving under the influence, not driving on the right side of the road and operating an uninsured vehicle and is free on bond.
