Massive Blaze Destroys Huntley Home

The fire late Sunday in the 10200 block of Central Park Boulevard also damaged two neighboring homes.

HUNTLEY, IL — The cause of a fire that destroyed a home and damaged two neighboring houses late Sunday is under investigation, fire officials said. The blaze started near the garage of a two-story single-family home in the 10200 block of Central Park Boulevard just before 10 p.m. and could be seen for miles away, according to the Daily Herald

The fire caused an estimated $850,000 in damage to the home, which is now uninhabitable, and also caused cosmetic damage to two neighboring homes, fire officials told the newspaper.
