Master Gardeners Open for 2015 Business
The University of Illinois Kane County Master Gardeners are available by phone or email.

The snow has melted and the weatherman has promised a high of 73 degrees on Monday. Spring is on its way. And another sure sign of the arrival of spring is the opening of the Kane County Master Gardener desk in Kane County.
“Seed choice and starting seeds are two popular topics this time of year with the Master Gardener Help Desk,” Sarah Fellerer, Program Coordinator said in a written release. “Master Gardeners can advise on what needs to be done in gardens and yards right now, including questions about pruning, soil sampling, and disease control and prevention. Our trained volunteers also field questions on trees, shrubs, lawns, flowers and more.”
In March, the Kane County Master Gardeners are available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 630-584-6166 or in the Master Gardener office at the University of Illinois Extension office at 535 S. Randall Road in St. Charles. In April, the Help Desk will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Monday through Friday. Questions also may be sent via email to uiemg-kendall@illinois.edu.
