Nearly 40 Lake in the Hills Garage Sales Slated for Summer; Permits Still Available

Local officials are reminding hopeful garage sale hosts to acquire their permits. They also released a list of about 40 upcoming sales.

LAKE IN THE HILLS, IL - Nothing says summertime like a good ol' garage sale, and Lake in the Hills officials are reminding residents to score permits if they're planning to participate.

Hosts are allowed only two garage sale permits per year. Each may be issued for up to six consecutive calendar days, or split into two back-to-back weekends of up to three days each.

Those interested in obtaining a permit should stop by the village hall at 600 Harvest Gate to fill out an application. The fee for each is $5.
