New Half Price Book Store Offers Cash for Your Books

Half Price Books manager Kevin Conway was busy unpacking boxes of books as people wandered in the front door of the Algonquin Commons storefront.

The store is not officially open, but it is buying books to fill its shelves for the April 25 grand opening. Anyone who has books, CDs or albums to sell can stop by between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Half Price Books is located at 2226 South Randall Road
Suite 110, in a portion of what was Borders Bookstore.

Half Price Books has used and new books. It also does many literacy projects and donates books which do not sell to teachers, Conway said.
