Police Blotter: DUI and Traffic Arrests

April 26, 2015

Brandon M. Kent, 21, of the 800 block of Adam Lane in Hampshire was arrested in the 2500 block of Bunker Hill Drive at 2:19 a.m. on a charge of domestic battery, police reported. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

Cristina T. Villareal, 26, of the 500 block of Barrette #2 in Elgin was arrested at 5:34 a.m. in the 900 block of Main Street on charges of DUI and unlawful stopping, police reported.

April 25, 2015

Omar S. Razvi, 40, of the 100 block of S. Main Street #17 was arrested at 9:19 a.m. at Route 31 and Main Street on charges of reckless driving, leaving the scene of an accident and improper lane use, police reported. He posted bond and was released.

Gregg D. Vojik, 57, of the 2200 block of Colorado Avenue in Elgin was arrested at 10:46 p.m. at Algonquin and Handon roads on charges of improper lane use and two counts of DUI, police reported. He posted bond and was released.

April 24, 2015

Two fifteen-year-old females, one from Algonquin the other from Lake in the Hills, were arrested at 4:09 p.m. in the 400 block of S. Randall Road on charges of Retail Theft, police reported. The one from Algonquin was referred to TriCounty Peer Jury and the one from Lake in the Hills was petitioned to McHenry County Juvenile Court. They were then released to their parents.

April 23, 2015

James L. Palella, 36, of the 2900 block of Talaga Drive was arrested at 9:28 p.m. on a warrant from McHenry County for resisting, police reported. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

April 22, 2015

Rafael L. Torres, 43, of the 900 block of Chippewa in Carpentersville was arrested at 3:26 a.m., in the 400 block of S. Randall Road on charges of DUI and improper lane use, police reported. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.

David R. Marcial, 33, of the 2000 block of Silverstone Drive in Carpentersville was arrested at 11:48 p.m. at Algonquin adn Randall roads on charges of driving while license revoked and head lamp use, police reported. He posted bond and was released.
