Police Blotter: Retail Theft and Traffic Arrests

Miguel Jose Loera, 23, of the 100 block of Berkshire Dr., in Crystal Lake was arrested on Route 31 and Huntington Drive at 5:56 a.m. on charges of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving 15 to 20 miles per hour above the speed limit, police said. He was released on a personal recognizance.

Robert Z. Taylor, 20, of 300 block of Poplar Street in Crystal Lake, was arrested on Harrison Street and Route 62 at 1:27 a.m. on charges of DUI, improper lane use, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and illegal transportation of alcohol, police reported. He posted bond and was released.

Joshua L. Brown, 40, of the 100 block of River Bluff Court in Carpentersville was arrested in the 100 block of Randall Road on charges of driving while license suspended, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane use, police reported. He posted bond and was released.

Brandon P. Trina, 21, of the 1100 block of Sawmill Lane was arrested at Sawmill and Millcreek at 4:27 p.m. on charges of retail theft and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, police reported. He posted bond and was released.

A fifteen-year-old from Lake in the Hills, was arrested in the 400 block of S. Randall Road at 6:08 p.m. on charges of retail theft, police reported. He was referred to the Tri-Area Peer Jury then released to his parents.

Patti A. McLeod, 60, of the 1300 block of Fox River Drive in Algonquin, was arrested in the 1400 block of Randall Road at 1:45 p.m. on a charge of retail theft, police reported. She posted bond and was released.

13:45pm Alexandro Zarco, 21, of the 1800 block of S. 50th Court in Cicero, was arrested on Route 62 and Eastgate Drive at 1:45 p.m. on charges of driving while license suspended, speeding and no insurance, police reported. He was released on an I-bond.

17:34pm Kyle W. Rosenthal, 24, of the 100 block of Hunters Path in Lake in the Hills was arrested at Stonegate Road and Randall roads at 5:34 p.m., on charges of retail theft and unlawful possession of a hypodermic needle, police reported. He was taken to McHenry County Jail.
