Reps. Bos & McLaughlin to Host Virtual Town Hall May 18

The virtual town hall will take place live from Springfield on Tuesday, May 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

(IL House Staff.)

SPRINGFIELD – State Representatives Chris Bos (R-Lake Zurich) and Martin McLaughlin (R-Barrington Hills), who represent the 51st and 52nd Districts respectively, are partnering to host a Virtual Town Hall for constituents. The town hall will take place live from Springfield on Tuesday, May 18, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Those wishing to attend may register in advance for the virtual event to be held via webinar.

“Whether it’s property tax reform, pension reform or dealing with corruption, there is a lot that still needs to be done in Springfield before the end of the spring legislative session,” said Bos. “I look forward to this opportunity to give constituents a direct update from Springfield and answer questions.”

“Town halls like this provide a chance for our residents to give their perspectives on a wide range of topics,” said McLaughlin. “I enjoy having a forum to share regional concerns regarding anti-business legislation being drafted in Springfield and provide ideas on how to promote restoration of our local downtown small business sector."
