Rock & Shop Concerts Coming to Algonquin Commons in July

From GMCI Creative: Join us for all-ages live music at Algonquin Commons Rock and Shop every weekend in July.

There will be a different local band every Saturday and Sunday beginning at 3pm.

• July 8th – FlashDrive: Top 40 rock, pop, funk, alternative & modern country hits
• July 9th - Invictus: Punk/pop punk
• July 15th – Josh LaSota: Indie rock
• July 16th – There Goes the Neighborhood: Pop-Punk/Alternative covers
• July 22nd – OUTDregjas: Rock n’ Roll
• July 23rd – Counter Theory: Alternative
• July 29th - Chachuba: Electronic, trance-fusion, jam
• July 30th - New Age Renegades: Original music, rock & roll covers

Each of these talented bands were chosen through Algonquin Commons’ PLAY LIVE Facebook contest. Beginning in February, bands were asked to upload videos and demos for a chance at a cash prize and to play live at the Commons in July. Each band was chosen through likes and comments. The top 20 were then interviewed and chosen to play.

Bring a chair or blanket to watch the show, or just enjoy the local live music while you shop, every weekend in July.
