Susan K. Kimble, 56, of Crystal Lake

Susan K. Kimble, age 56, died at her home in Crystal Lake on Monday, Dec. 9, 2013.

Susan was born in Elgin, the daughter of Robert and Carol (Rooney) Kimble.

She had a heart of gold. She loved people, gardening, and animals, especially birds. She never met, or found a person she did not like. She was a real fun loving, caring, witty person with a zest for life. 

She is survived by her mother, Carol and her father, Robert; two sisters, Linda (William) Hiatt and Barbara (Craig) Petershon; a brother, John (Angela) Kimble; her niece, Megan Petersohn and nephews, Eric Hiatt and Robert Petershon.

A memorial visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at the Skaja Bachmann Funeral Home, 7715 W. Route 14, Crystal Lake.

Interment will be at Crystal Lake Memorial Park.
