Teens Arrested at Jacobs High School for Marijuana Possession; Others Charged for Retail Theft

Marijuana Possession
A 14-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at 2:07 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and charged with possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Dr. He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his parents.
A 15-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at 8:50 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, and charged with possession of marijuana. He was taken into custody at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Dr. He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his parents.
Wesley A. Santini, 25, of the the 14000 block of Flagstaff Court, Huntley, was arrested at 8:17 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver, and resisting arrest. He was taken into custody at 540 W. Parkview Terrace. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail in Woodstock to await a bond hearing.

A 16-year-old boy, 15-year-old girl, and 14-year-old girl were arrested at 1:05 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, and charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal trespass to land. They were taken into custody at Brandywine Circle. They were each referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released to their parents. Â
DUI
Robert T. Zastrow, 45, of the 1000 block of Bradford Ct., Elgin, was arrested at 11:49 p.m. Friday, Dec. 13, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol. He was taken into custody at Routes 62 and 25. He posted $100 and his drivers license for bond, and was released. He will appear in court Jan. 22.

Stacy M. Ward, 57, of the 500 block of Harper Dr., Algonquin, was arrested at 3:27 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to give aid/ information, improper left turn, and no proof of insurance. She was taken into custody at Oakview Terrace and Zange Drive. She posted $100 and her drivers license for bond and was released with a Jan. 22 court date.
Nathaniel L. Kessel, 37, of the 600 block of Park St., East Dundee, was arrested at 11:10 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, driving too fast for conditions, failure to reduce speed and improper lane use. He was taken into custody at Main Street and Algonquin Road. He posted $100 and his drivers license for bond and was released. He is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 5.
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
A 16-year-old Lake in the Hills boy was arrested at 8:36 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody at Jacobs High School, 2601 Bunker Hill Dr. He was referred to the Tri County Area Peer Jury and then released into the custody of his parents.
Trespassing, Property Damage
Patrick C. McCarthy, 22, of the 400 block of River Road, Algonquin, was arrested at 5:38 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, and charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespassing to property and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody at 9575 S. Route 31. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing. Â
Retail Theft
Florence E. Perry, 56, of the 700 block of Village Road, Crystal Lake, was arrested at 10:54 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, and charged with felony retail theft after she was taken into custody at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Rd. She was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
Debbie Galloway-Jackson, 52, of the 500 block of Greensview Dr., Algonquin, was arrested at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, and charged with retail theft. She was taken into custody at Meijer, 400 S. Randall Rd. She posted $150 bond and was released with a court date of Jan. 22.
Jack K. Raschdorf, 45, of Prairie Point Lane, Streamwood, was arrested at 7:19 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, and charged with felony retail theft. He was taken into custody at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Rd. He was transported to the McHenry County Jail to await a bond hearing.
Daniel W. Stephenson, 25, of the 500 block of Sussex, Algonquin, was arrested at 3:47 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, and charged with retail theft. He was taken into custody at Kohl’s. He posted $150 and was released with a court date of Jan. 29.
Tina St. Amand, 46, of the 2900 block of Deer Path Lane, Carpentersville, was arrested at 4:41 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, and charged with two counts of retail theft. She was taken into custody at Walmart, 1410 S. Randall Rd. She posted bond on both counts and was released with a court date of Jan. 29.
