Viewfinder: Unique Engagement Announcement on Algonquin Road

Mary Martin is celebrating her daughter’s engagement in a big way. She put her congratulations on a sign on Algonquin Road that reads “She said yes.”

Martin works at the Algonquin Heating & Air Conditioning, 109 E. Algonquin Road, and put up the sign a few weeks ago. Her daughter, Amy, got engaged to Adam Dierzen in November. Dierzen rented the Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago and hired a cellist and violinist when he popped the question.

The wedding planning is underway for the September nuptials.
