Waste Management’s Special Pickup Makes Spring Cleaning Easy
Algonquin's spring clean up available to homeowners on different dates in April.

Waste Management and Algonquin are teaming up for a village wide clean up for homeowners.
Special pickups will be scheduled throughout the village in April for single-family residence and town homes that receive garbage and recycling services, according to the village’s website.

Stickers are not required for the special pickup. Homeowners can get ride of items like toys, old clothes, couches, beds, dressers, grills and patio furniture.
Items that will not be accepted: automobile parts, landscape waste, white goods, electronics and construction materials.

The items must be on the curb by 7 a.m. on the clean-up date. The dates are:
April 13 (East):Â Area includes households east of Main Street (Illinois Route 31), east to the Village limits.
April 20 (Central):Â Area includes households west of Main Street (Illinois Route 31), east of Randall Road, and those north of County Line Road, including the Gaslight Terrace Subdivision.
April 27 (West):Â Area includes households west of Randall Road and those south of County Line Road, excluding the Gaslight Terrace Subdivision.
