Catch spring fever with the Citizens for Conservation Community Education Committee, which is offering a double-header of planting programs for March.

Committee members Peggy Simonsen and Meredith Tucker will provide advice, photos, and inspiration for those who would like to incorporate native plants into their home landscapes. If you’ve come in the past, come again—there’s always new information to learn and you can start your wish list for CFC’s May 4 and 5 Native Plant Sale.Â

Native Trees and Shrubs
Wednesday, March 20; 7 p.m. Lake Barrington Village Hall, 23860 N. Old Barrington Road, Lake Barrington
For the committee’s second evening program of 2013, Meredith Tucker will show homeowners how to use native woody plants to make your landscape a haven for birds, pollinators—and people. This is another opportunity for gardeners to add to their Plant Sale wish list.Â
