Barrington Ice Arena Has Closed
A new owner may take over the building in Lake Barrington.
LAKE BARRINGTON, IL -- After 42 years in Lake Barrington the Barrington Ice Arena has closed.
The rink, which is located at 28205 W. Commercial Ave. in Lake Barrington, is now owned by Ridgestone Bank in Schaumburg, the Daily Herald reports. Lake Barrington Village administrator Chris Martin said the bank has a group interested in purchasing the ice rink.
No information is currently available on who might purchase the rink and what that business's possible plans are for the building.
