Barrington Lions Club Presents Special Donation to JourneyCare
Lions Club purchases Duffy Courage Lions as a donation to JourneyCare.
Barrington Lions Club reached out to help JourneyCare comfort children going through trauma or grief by donating 50 Duffy Courage Lion.
The lion, which is accompanied by a book, is a therapeutic stuffed animal used to help children through the healing process.
JourneyCare is looking forward to being able to use this tool to help the children they support, a press release stated.

Since 1982, JourneyCare (formerlyHospice and Palliative Care of Northeastern Illinois) has provided pain and symptom management and end-of-life expertise to young and old facing serious or life-limiting illness.
